EDDY PARK CAMPGROUND
Campground phone: (906) 224-4481. (906) 229-5131 for info & reservations when
On a little peninsula in Sunday Lake, this shady, quiet campground has been totally reconfigured, with drinking water by every site, and 20-30-50 amp electric. It now has fewer, roomier sites—64 in all. Twenty-four sites are by the water. The 5 sites next to showers have concrete pads for wheelchair users. Most interior sites have sewer. Rustic tent sites are farther west. The boat launch, beach, and other facilities for Eddy Park are nearby. See separate park description for non-motorized lakeside trail, wheelchair-accessible fishing pier, and more. Rates vary with sites. The average range is $20/day, $50-70/week, $300/month. Seasonal campers are permitted. Best to reserve ahead. The campground is full from around June 24 thru July 15. Spots for overnight tent campers ($8/night) are usually available without reservations except on July 4 and the biannual boat race.

On the north side of Sunday Lake less than a mile's walk to Wakefield. Open from Mem. Day thru bear season (early Oct.). Wheelchair access: showers, sites, paved walks through campground and park, many park amenities. No extra charge for extra people.
