Beaufort Lake Campground
This simple grassy state campground with 7 sites all overlooking the lake is just far enough off 41 to maintain a quiet ambience. There toilets, a water pump, and boat launch. No buffering from the road, but it has little traffic.
About a mile down Beaufort Lake Rd. Turn south off 41 just east of George Lake. $10/night, $5 for seniors.
