Excellent informational handouts and maps are available here, in person or mailed. They cover all Hiawatha National Forest visitor attractions in the west unit: the wetlands and rivers of the Au Train basin north of Rapid River, a belt of lakes between Manistique and Munising with many campgrounds, stretches of Lake Superior shore, and much of the Stonington and Nahma peninsulas near here.On the south side of U.S. 2, between the Whitefish River and the village of Rapid River.
