Tenting platforms at the northern "village" or harbor campground are about 400 feet from the harbor dock on the island's northwest end. Tent tie-downs are built into the decks. Bring a stove or portable grill and solar shower. Vault toilets. Water pump and faucet. Take precautions about bears; see introduction. Now reservable up ro 1 year ahead. Additional tent platforms are at the South Beach Campground on the island's southeast side, accessible by water or by a 2.2 mile trail from the harbor. South Beach has no running water, four platform campsites and a pit toilet.

Open spring thru fall. Call (906) 635-5281 to check availability or to make reservations for group camping. $15/night. Handicap access: call. Pets: no.
