Little Garlic Falls
A walk through beautiful woods and along a wild, undeveloped river are the highlights of this easy up-and-down trail of 2 miles to secluded Little Garlic Falls. The Little Garlic is a noted trout stream, home to brook trout all year. The spring and fall spawning runs of rainbow and brown trout from Lake Superior attract area anglers.Parking area is off CR 550 on the road's inland side, just north of the Little Garlic River. About 12 miles beyond Wright St. on Marquette's north edge, or about 15 miles south of Big Bay. Look for sign that says "Elliot Donnelly Tract" in honor of the donor of the falls property.
