Munising Falls-Munising Creek

Munising Falls
The dramatic sandstone horseshoe formation framing Munising Falls is as much a spectacle as the falling waters itself.

This is a beautiful, high, narrow waterfall. It is a nice location; however, Wayne feels it is too "manicured" in the area behind the waterfall.
Signs mark this well so it is easy to find and it is a short, easy walk.

This waterfall is almost in Munising. At the blinker, where M-28 makes a right angle, go north toward Grand Marais (on road called East Munising Avenue). Soon, after turning north, at the "Y" in the road go left on Washington Road (it goes left to Munising Falls). The waterfall is approx. two blocks past the "Y".

Ability to Locate: Easy
Access by Hiking: Easy
Beauty of Falls: Very Good
