The all-you-can-eat Friday fish fry at this trim retail fish shop/eatery attracts people from far and wide. It includes fries and coleslaw, and costs $9 for whitefish, $14.50 for perch. The whitefish basket ($6.75 with slaw and fries) and sandwich are available any time. Fish comes fresh from the King family fishery in Naubinway. Chicken strips, homemade pasties, and homemade soup round out the menu. Décor in the 40-seat restaurant consists of photos and artifacts from the Kings' fishery, past and present. No credit cards.
N-4036 M-123 in "downtown" Moran, west side of road. Hours change with seasons. Opens in April or May, daily 9-4. From Mem.-Labor Day open 9-7. Then 9-4 ‘til end of October. Could open in winter. Handicap access: 1 step. No alcohol.
