Some complain that this casino is in a desolate area, but there are many nice, spacious rooms in the handsome complex. Ask for an upper tower room in the back and you'll have a fine view of a U.P. forest. Although you can get weekday rooms in winter for as little as $50, the studio suite in the newer Palm Tower is just $175 weekdays. The 300+ room hotel offers standard, handicapped, and Jacuzzi-equipped rooms. Each guest receives $10 gambling vouchers + $5 dinner coupon each night. Rooms from spring through fall are $85-$95 Friday and Saturday nights, $10 less Sunday-Thursday. Luxury suites with whirlpools range from $117 to $144. Call for amenities.
