It pays off to spend some time picking up free info here. The office is staffed by knowledgeable Keweenaw natives. It's well stocked with travel info plus some mineral specimens, maps, and a few local history books for sale.The well-organized, pro-actively edited web site, www.keweenaw.info , has excellent annotated lists with directions for cemeteries, ghost towns, lighthouses, non-motorized areas, waterfalls, scenic drives, local parks and picnic areas, and more. Note: only members are listed for restaurants.
