Low dunes separate the sandy beach from a shady, mature forest on the stabilized back dunes, all part of the Hiawatha National Forest. The picnic area and restrooms are on the drive to the popular rustic campground.
On U.S. 2 about 6 miles west of Brevoort Lake Road and about 3 miles east of Ozark Road. (906) 643-7900. $5 day use fee.
