Au Train River Canoe Trail
A slow, easy, relaxing canoe trip of four to six hours begins at the Forest Service boat launch at the Au Train Lake campground. (Follow sign off H-03/Forest Lake Road south of town, turn east.) For a shorter trip, put in at the H-03 bridge south of town.A canoe livery at the Northwoods Resort, (906-892-8114), is just south of the little town of Au Train on Forest Lake Road/H-03.
